Gilberts Bakery Specialists is located on the London road in Leigh on sea, owned by the hill family for over 50 years.
Nothing tastes better than traditionally baked bread, cakes or pastries, cooked in small batches with the care and attention that larger ‘establishments’ seem to have left behind.

The shop has a good selection of wonderful of hand made tasting freshly baked, rolls, baguettes, pastries, buns and delicious, light, fresh cream cakes.

Their specialties is yeast free white, wholemeal and cracked wheat breads, rye bread and spelt bread loaves. You can also buy the frozen breads, if you have to travel a distance, as well as pastry cook and freshly prepares wonderful light pastry in house, and you can buy freshly baked sweet and savoury filled pastries to eat now.
